JUNIORS, 16; SENIORS, 11.

Juniors Win the Series.- An Interesting Teninning Game.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Juniors, by defeating the Seniors yesterday, 16-11, won their series with the latter and are now entitled to play the winners of the Sophomore-Freshman series for the class championship. The game, closely contested through-out, was marked by loose playing, especially on the part of '98.

'99 went in to bat first and scored two runs on a hit by Litchfield and errors by '98. The Seniors were retired without a run.

In the second inning the Juniors started off with a rush and forced six men across the plate in quick succession, as the whole Senior nine seemed to become demoralized. They pulled together, however, and in the second half by good batting secured seven runs.

No more scoring was done till the fifth when Bouve came in on a hit by Abbott, tieing the score, which stood eight to eight. Both teams had now steadied down and were playing good ball.

In the seventh inning Dibblee got to first on an error by Abbott, stole second, and came home when Nowell was thrown out at first.

In the ninth inning the score stood eleven all. '99, in the tenth inning, found Vincent and batted out four hits, one of which was a double by Franklin. The Seniors were retired without a run, leaving the score sixteen to eleven in favor of '99.
