Circulars, bearing the names of Henry L. Higginson '55, George Blagden '56, George M. Barnard '57, J. Lewis Stackpole '57, Henry S. Russell '60, Thomas Sherwin '60, N. P. Hallowell '61, Oliver Wendell Holmes '61, and Charles W. Amory '63, have been sent to the graduates of Harvard, asking for subscriptions to purchase a gift for the auxiliary cruiser Harvard, U. S. N., individual subscriptions not to exceed five dollars.

The circulars were issued Wednesday and since then $925 have been received.
