The cricket team was badly defeated by the University of Pennsylvania team, at Philadelphia yesterday, in a one inning game by the score of 173 to 68. Harvard's good stand against the Staten Island team on Thursday promised better results, but Pennsylvania put up an unexpectedly strong game. The bowling of Hastings for Harvard was a feature of the game.
Today the team will see the Harvard Pennsylvania baseball game and on monday will play the second and last game of the intercollegiate series with Haverford College.
