During the coming week Lieutenant Burke expects to organize the men who are drilling, into fixed companies, averaging about fifty-five men, including commissioned and non-commissioned officers. Officers will be elected by the companies, subject to Lieutenant Burke's approval. It is hoped to have these companies, two or three of which will be formed from each class, permanently registered by the end of the week.
All Sophomores who wish to join companies are asked to meet Lieutenant Burke at 4.30 this afternoon in the Gymnasium. All men who have had any previous experience in drilling are especially asked to see him personally.
Juniors who wish to organize will be called out tomorrow, and the other classes later. Notices will appear in the CRIMSON. 475 men have already signed for regular drill and it is hoped that they will all turn out to be organized into companies.
