Provided there enough entries, the Shooting Club will hold a handicap match for a hammerless shot gun during the last three weeks in May. The handicaps will be made as generous as possible, so as to make all approximately equal. The matches, six in all, will begin on Monday, May 9, and will be held on Monday and Thursday afternoons following. The final score will be determined from the four best out of the six scores of each contestant. There will be prizes for first, second and third places and for the man making the best actual score in four shoots.
The entrance fee will be $3.00 for each man. All members who wish to enter should sign the blue-books which will be placed at Leavitts, and at Sanborn's. Men may join the club at 17 Holworthy, or at the grounds on Soldiers Field any Monday or Thursday afternoon.
