Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
In an eight inning game with Exeter yesterday afternoon which Harvard won by a score of 8 to 0, the nine showed the best form in general play that has been seen on Soldiers Field for some time. No errors were made in fielding and every man seemed to have more selfconfidence and aggressiveness than heretofore. A radical, though perhaps only temporary, change was made in the make-up of the nine. Burgess and Lynch changed positions in the outfield. Foster was played at first and McCornick pitched. Haughton was unavoidably absent and his place was taken by Chandler who carried himself in good form, making several very difficult assists and two of Harvard's eight hits. Laughlin, Foster and Clark all fielded their positions perfectly. Foster especially doing some excellent work at first on low thrown balls across the diamond.
The only discouraging feature of the afternoon's work was the rather mediocre batting of the 'Varsity. Only eight hits were made off Exeter's two pitchers, and of this number three were undeserved, being the direct result of Exeter's slowness in fielding. Both Carter and Clay pitched remarkably good bal for a school nine, yet inability, even under such conditions, to secures more than five square hits, seems to point to a critical weakness.
For Exeter, Carter, Miller and Clay all did exceptionally good work. In the fifth inning, with three men on bases, a quick double play was made by Carter, Miller and Weeks when Clark hit a short grounder to the infield.
