Harvard 1901 vs. Yale 1901

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Freshmen will play their first game against Yale 1901 at New Haven this afternoon at three o'clock. The team was given a good send-off as it left Sanborn's yesterday afternoon. Judging from Yale 1901's score of 12 to 3 against Brown 1901 April 30, and the Freshmen's score of 9 to 8 against the same team May 10, it is probable that 1901 will have to work hard to win.

The batting orders follow:

Harvard 1901. Yale 1901.

Robinson, 3b. 3b., Brown.

Milne, c. s. s., Irwin.

Fincke, s. s. c. f., Eliason.

Coolidge, Bertholf, r. f. 1b., Robertson.

Jaynes, c. f. 2b., Rithet.

Putnam, 2b. l. f., Clark.

Cropley, l. f. r. f., Boyce.

Kendall, 1b. c., Hirsch.

McDonald, p. p., Stickney.

sub., Taylor.
