HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Twenty-six men have entered as competitors for the Boylston Prizes for elocution. This is rather a smaller number, in proportion to the size of the classes, than has entered in former years. A preliminary trial will be held on Saturday, May 7, at which candidates will be chosen to speak in the final public competition on Thursday, May 12. The speeches, selections from English, Greek or Latin authors, must be approved by Professor Hill. He will be in Sever 1 on Friday afternoon at 4.30, for that purpose. It is desirable that men should have their selections made by that time.
Following is the list of competitors:
G. Bancroft '99, G. P. Bryant '99, H. D. Bushnell '98, P. G. Carleton '99, E. O. Childs, Jr., '99, E. P. Costigan '99, E. M. Copeland '98, J. T. Harrington '99, W. C. S. Healey '98, R. L.
