Two of the six games of the College nine scheduled for the recess were cancelled on account of bad weather, and of the remaining games the team won but one, that with Boston University.
The nine has been somewhat crippled by not having a regular third baseman. Sears has moved in from the outfield, and his place at left field has been taken by Lane. Farrington has moved over to centre field and Lewis has been playing right field.
The pitchers have been somewhat ineffective and the team has done very little batting.
The score of the games by innings follows:
Boston University at Cambridge.
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
College Nine, 2 2 1 0 2 0 0 0-7
