This afternoon the Freshmen will play the College nine at two o'clock on Soldiers Field. The make-ups of the two nines will probably be as follows:
College-c., Bucknam; p., Schwill; 1b., Lewis; 2b., Maguire; 3b., Litchfield, Ewer; s. s., Galbraith; l. f., Sears; r. f., Foster; c. f., Lane, Farrington.
Freshman-c., Milne; p., McDonald; 1b., Kendall; 2b., Fincke; 3b., Robinson; s. s., Cropley; l. f., Whittemore; c. f., Jaynes; r. f., Coolidge.
The Freshman baseball practice yesterday afternoon consisted principally of batting, special attention being paid to form. As a result of the recent coaching the men have showed decided improvement in this particular, and are now putting considerable energy into their work. During the latter part of the practice yesterday a short game was played between two picked teams.
