The Beacon Cup and the octagonal platter on which the names of the winning crews from '74 to '97 have been inscribed are to be put on exhibition in the CRIMSON window this morning. This cup was first offered in 1858 as a prize for the winners of the "Beacon Cup Regatta," and from 1866 to '77 was offered as a prize for the spring class races. It is hoped that it will continue to be a class race trophy for many years to come.
