The lecture in Sever 11, at eight o'clock this evening, will be the first lecture on Thackeray and the fifth in the course. It will be occupied with the life of Thackeray, with his minor writings (in both verse and prose), and with "Pendennis."

The usual reading after the lecture will include "The Ballad of Bouillabaisse" and a passage from "Pendennis."
