The Junior crew rowed in its new shell for the first time yesterday. The new boat seemed to be very good, although more than three feet longer than the original shell.

Swift rowed bow in place of Marvin who has strained his shoulder. As a crew the men are not rowing together as well as they might be, and at present they are rowing a short stroke compared to '98.
