The ice hockey team won the game with Technology yesterday afternoon on the Locust street rink, after a close and exciting match by the score of 3 to 2. The Tech. team led most of the game, but became winded toward the end, and showed lack of practice. The score at the close of the first half stood two to two, the winning point being made by a luck stroke from behind the goal. Hopkins and Walworth, of last year's Yale team played the best game for Tech. Matteson and Goodridge did the best for Harvard, and Russell played his usual steady game at goal.

The line-up of the teams was as follows:

HARVARD. TECHNOLOGY.

Russell, g. g., Smith.

Baldwin, p. p., Robinson.

Bowser, c. p. c. p., Cobb.

Goodridge, f. f., Walworth.

Hardy, f. f., Putnam.

Beardsell, f. f., Hopkins.

Matteson, f. f., Kingman.

G. P. Stevens, '98 M. I. T., acted as referee.
