Professor Norton's Resignation.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

To the Editors of the Crimson:

The announcement of Professor Norton's retirement from the chair of Fine Arts, will cause sincere regret to all, who have in the past, or who hoped in the future to, come under his influence.

His courses have come to hold an unique position in the college curriculum, which it will be hard, if not impossible, to fill. His attitude toward the students has always been that of an interested friend and a perfect gentleman, and his influence most beneficial.

Would it not, then, be most fitting that all undergraduates who have had the privilege of attending his courses should take some action to show their appreciation of his worth and their recognition of their obligations to him.
