Harvard Students To Vote on Divestment From Israel in Inaugural HUA Election Survey
On the invitation of Brown University, delegates from Harvard, Princeton, Columbia, Pennsylvania, Cornell, Dartmouth and Brown met in Providence Friday and Saturday for an informal conference upon the subject of eligibility rules and other questions dealing with purer athletics. Professor W. H. Munroe of Brown was elected president and F. W. Moore of Harvard secretary.
Although a good deal of time was spent in discussions, no conclusions were reached and no statements were made public. A committee of one from each university will draw up recommendations for submission to the various institutions and will report to the conference at its second meeting late in the spring.
Each university had three delegates, a faculty member, a graduate, and an undergraduate. Harvard was represented by Professor I. N. Hollis, F. W. Moore '93 and E. G. Burgess '98.
