GRADUATES ATHLETIC ASS'N.

At the meeting in Sanders Theatre Wednesday evening for the organization of the Graduates Athletic Association, Gen. W. A. Bancroft '78, will be the presiding officer and will explain the plan proposed. The Hon. Theodore Roosevelt '80, will make an address. Seats will be reserved on the stage for members of the corporation and board of overseers, and former captains of athletic teams. The galleries, and all unoccupied space at the back of the hall after the meeting begins, will be open to undergraduates exclusively. Any member of the Graduate Schools who desires to join the association or is interested in the movement, will be expected in the body of the theatre.

The proposed constitution, copies of which have been sent to all the Harvard Clubs in the country, will be carefully considered in detail, and amended, adopted, or rejected as the meeting thinks fit.

This constitution, which was carefully prepared by a committee of graduates, contains 13 articles and provides that all persons, except undergraduates, who have at any time been students in any department of the University, are eligible for membership. It also provides for an annual meeting of the association at which 25 members shall constitute a quorum and for special meetings which can be called at the request of 25 members. The officers shall consist of an executive committee of 24 members, eight to retire every year. This committee from its members, shall select a chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer. The first election will be held Wednesday evening but at future elections of the committee members of the association may vote by mail on ballots provided for the purpose. The executive committee is given general powers to act for the association and to express its opinion on any question connected with the athletic interests of Harvard University. It may expel members after a hearing; it must submit an annual report.

Copies of the constitution have been placed in the CRIMSON office and may be obtained by anybody at any time.
