The first of a course of six evening lectures on "Public Control of Railways" was given at the Prospect Union, Saturday, by Mr. Frank Hendrick 1L., who spoke on "The Railway Commission and Railway Regulation in France." The subsequent lectures are as follows:
II. Jan. 22, "Railway Regulation in Italy and in Austria."
III. Jan. 29, "Railway Regulation in Belgium and in Germany."
IV. Feb. 5, "Railway Regulation in England."
V. Feb. 12, "Railway Regulation in the United States."
VI. Feb. 19, "The Massachusetts Railway Commission as a Guide to American Railway Control."
The lectures are free to all.
