At a meeting of the Tennis Association last night Leo Ware '99, M. D. Whitman '99 and J. D. Forbes were chosen as Harvard's three representatives in singles at the intercollegiate tournament in New Haven, October 5.
The following pars will play for first and second places in doubles:
Ware and Whitman, Ward and Davis, Marvin and Laverack, Forbes and Scudder, Holt and Foster, Carleton and McKittrick.
All the matches will be played on the courts of the Longwood Crickett Club and as the matches must be finished this week, men not showing up on time will be promptly defaulted.
The following matches will be played today:
At 10.30-Match 1, Ward and Davis vs. Carleton and McKitrick. Match 3, Ware and Whitman vs. Marvin and Laverack.
At. 3.30-Match 3, Holt and Foster vs. winners of Match 1. Match 4, Forbes and Scudder vs. winners of Match 2.
