The attendance at the Summer School this year was the largest ever recorded. Besides those attending the courses in Medicine and Dentistry in Boston, the Cambridge department had 647 regular students as compared to 528 enrolled in 1896. This large increase was chiefly in the courses in English and Physical Geography.
