The Weld Crew.

The Weld Boat Club eight won second place in the senior eight-oared shell race at the annual regatta of the National Association of Amateur Oarsmen held at Philadelphia on August 14. The Pennsylvania Barge Club of Philadelphia was first, winning by five lengths. The Weld eight finished three-quarters of a length ahead of the Pennsylvania 'varsity crew.
