The final round in the tennis tournament yesterday afternoon was won by H. Ward 1900, who defeated R. A. Bidwell '99 in three straight sets.
Although Ward had no trouble in winning, the match showed some very good tennis. Bidwell played a plucky game throughout and placed the ball well. Ward, however, excelled in smashing and driving, and his cross-court work was excellent. The score by sets was:
H. Ward 1900 beat R. A. Bidwell '99, 6-3, 6-1, 6-4.
