The second annual championship meeting of the National Interscholastic Athletic Association will be held this afternoon on the Columbia Oval, New York, under the management of the Knickerbocker Athletic Club. The National Association is composed of schools from the New York, New Jersey, New England (around Boston), Connecticut, Maine, and Iowa interscholastic leagues. The following men from the New England Association left for New York last night: Kane and Converse, E. H. S.; McGarrett, C. H. and L.; Whitcomb, P. E. A.; Hallowell and Roche, H.; Boyce, B. H. S.; Coe, N. and G. The team is in charge of Kennington, E. H. S., president of the New England League.

It is doubtful if Mills, of Chauncy Hall, will compete in the mile run, owing to a strained tendon in his leg.
