The Harvard-Cornell baseball game will be played this afternoon at 4 on Holmes Field. A close game is to be expected, as Cornell has been playing well this season. In their game with Princeton last Saturday, the Cornell nine, though beaten 6 to 2, showed that it will take a good deal of beating.

The batting orders will be as follows:

Rand, l. f. c., Young.

Haughton, 1b. 1b., Murtaugh.

Scannell, c. c. f., Miller.

Stevenson, 3b. s. s., Affeld.

Dean, 2b. r. f., Bassford.

Chandler, s. s. 3b., Cook.

Paine, p. p., Bole.

The 'Varsity had a shorter practice than usual yesterday. The men went through the regular work until 3.30, when they went down to the basin to watch the races.
