HARVARD, 17; WILLIAMS, 15.

Another Poor Exhibition by the 'Varsity.- Loose Fielding.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Harvard succeeded in defeating Williams at Williamstown Saturday in a ten inning game. Although the fielding of both teams was very door, the game was an exciting one on account of the hard hitting. As soon as one team made runs the other was able to brace up and tie the score.

In the ninth inning with two men out and a man on third, Williams would have won the game, had it not been for a difficult catch by Dean of a sharp liner.

Harvard finally won out in the tenth inning, making five runs. Williams in their half made a good brace but were able to score only three times.

The game as a whole was very disappointing from the Harvard standpoint, for it showed that the team have not yet got rid of their slip-shod style of the past week, and that they can not hope to make a creditable record without a decided and immediate improvement.

The score:

HARVARD.
