The Freshman nine won its ninth consecutive game at Southboro, Saturday, defeating St. Mark's 8 to 5. 1900 played a very good game in the field, making only three errors, but their batting was weak. McCornick gave seven bases on balls, but partially made up for doing so by striking out fifteen men.

McCornick, Edmunds and Rainbolt did the best batting for the Freshmen, and Whittemore played a strong all-around game for St. Mark's. The score:

Innings. 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9

Harvard 1900, 2 1 0 0 0 0 3 1 1-8

St. Marks, 0 0 0 0 1 3 1 0 0-5
