Yacht Club Challenge.
A refusal of Harvard's challenge for a race at Newport this season was received from the Yale Yacht Club yesterday. When Harvard first challenged, Yale accepted on condition that the race be held at New London instead of Newport. Since New London was unsatisfactory to Harvard, and since, owing to the lateness of their Commencement this year, Yale is unable to race at Newport, the race has been declared off.
