NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The scrub baseball series this year has aroused much interest in the game throughout the University, and by giving more men a chance to play has been a sure method of developing material. The following is a statement of the final standing of the four best teams at the close of the series.

Won. Lost.

No Names, 5 0

Farmers, 5 2

Lady Fingers, 3 2

Push Balls, 2 1

The Lady Fingers and Push Balls were unable to finish the series on time, so they are tied for third place. The make-up of the No Names was as follows: W. B. Buck 2 G., c.; J. S. Galbraith '99, p.; A. Sledd 2 G., 1b.; H. P. Robinson Sp., 2b.; F. D. Robinson '99, 3b.; J. Nowell '99, s. s.; G. E. Barrell 1 Dn., l. f.; F. T. Bement 1 G., c. f.; R. H. Morrison '99, r. f.

Mr. Leiter has offered two sets of cups to be contested for next year, the first set to go to the winning team of the regular series and the second to the winning team of a special series, in which the three leading teams of the regular series will compete with the three leading teams of this year's series, if they can again be organized.
