Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
The Freshman nine defeated Brown 1900, on Holmes Field, Saturday afternoon in an uninteresting game. Though few errors were made, the fielding was not as sharp as it should have been, and the batting was weak. McCornick's pitching, though somewhat wild at times, was effective, and Brown got only four scattered hits.
Harvard first scored in the third inning, when, with one man out, Edmunds got a base on balls and stole second. Farrington then made a hit, sending Edmunds to third, and stole second on the next pitched ball. Lewis followed with a single, sending Edmunds and Farrington home, and scored on McCornick's hit to shortstop. McCornick, after stealing second and third, went home on Cutting's sacrifice. In the fourth inning, three more runs were made on four base hits.
Brown scored once in the fourth inning on a base on balls, a single, and a sacrifice hit. In the fifth inning two more runs were made on two bases on balls, a wild pitch, and a passed ball.
