This afternoon the golf team leaves for New York to play in the intercollegiate tournament which is to held there on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of this week. On Wednesday will be the individual eighteen-hole medal competition, and on Thursday and Friday the team matches. The matches are to be conducted like the matches in a tennis tournament, that is, the Iosers dropping out each time.

The team and substitutes who are going to New York are as follows: J. F. Curtis '99, T. B. Gannett Jr. '97, W. B. Cutting 1900, J. H. Choate Jr. '97, I. T. Burden Jr. '97, and R. B. Stone '98; substitutes-L. Underwood '97 and J. G. Averill '99.
