Two large collections of plants from Mexico have been received by the Herbarium, one collected by Dr. Edward Palmer, the other by Mr. C. G. Pringle. Several smaller United States collections have been received from the West and Northwest.

The usual spring work of transplanting in the Botanic Garden is now completed, except for the hot-house plants which will not be put out until the last of this month.
