The Sophomore Dinner Committee have decided to postpone the date of the class dinner from Tuesday, May 4, until Tuesday, May 11. This action was taken owing to the nearness of the class races, which are to take place on Thursday, May 6. It was found that the date previously set would prevent both the '99 regular and the '99 Weld crews from attending. Furthermore it would prevent the attendance of those members of the track team who are to compete in the Pennsylvania games.
The committee regrets exceedingly the necessity for taking such action, but fells that it will result finally to the advantage of the dinner.
Those men who have already purchased tickets may have them redeemed if they so desire it, but the committee wishes to impress upon all members of the class the necessity for changing the date and the benefit that will eventually result.
