The Senior class, at a meeting held last evening, voted to give up Friday as Class Day and to hold the exercises of that day on Thursday. The class also voted to petition the Corporation to be allowed to hold the Senior dance on Wednesday evening.
Captain Goodrich addressed the meeting and stated the impracticability of changing the date of the race from Friday to Thursday. He gave as his opinion that the change might be accomplished, but there were very good reasons against changing.
The plan adopted is that advocated in the CRIMSON of Thursday, with the addition of the petition for the use of Wednesday. The vote on the three schemes proposed showed no objection to giving up Friday in view of the circumstances. The vote to petition the Corporation for Wednesday was practically unanimous and the petition will be presented at once through the Class Day Committee.
