The third annual whist match between Yale and Harvard will be held this afternoon and evening in the Theta Delta Chi House.
The Yale team is composed of Cook '97 and Sherwood '97, Beecher '98 and D. Cameron '99 S., Cameron '99 and Bryant '99. Last week the Yale team defeated the Albany Chess and Whist Club by one point, and the Hudson Hendrick Club by 14 points, but was defeated by the Pittsfield Park Club by nine points.
The Harvard team is made up of C. D. Book 2 L and F. N. Morrill '97, F. Heilig '97 and O. M. W. Sprague 3 G., W. Byrd '97 and H. Endicott Jr. '97. They have recently defeated the Newtowne Club by seven tricks, but were defeated by Newton by three tricks.
Mr. L. M. Bouve, captain of the Amercan Whist Club, will be referee.
