The B. A. A. has scheduled a Marathon race for Lexington Day, April 19, to be run in connection with a set of handicap games. The course will be designed as closely as possible on the lines of the original, and will be from a start beyond South Framingham to a finish at Irvington Oval where the open games will be held.
At least ten men must enter to insure the holding of the event, but as Manager John Graham is already assured of seven entries, three of whom won the first three places at the Marathon race held by the Knickerbocker Athletic Club last September, its success seems assured.
The events in the handicap games will be, 100 yds. dash, 600 yds. and one mile run, 120 yds. high hurdle race, aunning broad jump and throwing the discus.
