The tournament held by the Newton Winter Tennis Club will begin this afternoon at Bray's Hall, Newton Centre. Matches will be played afternoons and evenings.

There are 32 entries. The players have been divided into six classes, according to their handicaps. The handicaps received and the drawings of the Harvard men entered are as follows:
