Freshman Baseball Candidates.

About sixty candidates for the Freshman baseball team reported yesterday afternoon at the Carey Building. The men were taken in charge by W. L. Garrison, Jr., '97, and W. H. Rand '98 and put through light practice in the cage. The work consisted in starting, sliding to bases and fielding a few grounders, concluding with a short run.

From now on the candidates will have daily work in the cage until the weather permits out-of-door practice to begin. Captain Dean and Garrison will have charge hereafter.
