The two upper classes of the Sheffield Scientific School at Yale have got up a petition for a four years' course. It has with few exceptions met with decided approval. The freshman class has not yet been canvassed. Later the petition will be placed under the management of a committee elected by the senior class, which committee will send to all the graduates envelopes enclosing resolutions and slips for a positive or negative vote. The vote of the graduates will be sent in with the petition, but it will not be submitted to the consideration of the faculty until the corporation meeting in the early spring or possibly until June.
