At the meeting of the Chess Club last evening E. E. Southard 1M. played simultaneously at nine tables, winning 7 1-2 games and losing 1 1-2.
It has been definitely decided that E. E. Southard 1 M. and J. Hewins, Jr., '98, will represent Harvard this year in the intercollegiate tournament, to be held at New York during the Christmas vacation.
