At the last meeting of the Rifle and Revolver Club the temporary officers resigned and regular officers were elected, with the exception of president and vice-president. The election for these two offices was postponed till the next meeting. The officers elected were: Treasurer, E. Malinckrodt 1900; manager, S. W. Wood sS.; range captain, C. H. Taylor 1900.

It was voted to hold shoots on alternate Saturdays at Walnut Hill until the range on Soldiers Field is completed. It was also decided to issue shingles. The adoption of a constitution was left to the executive committee.

The first regular shoot of the club was held on Saturday at Walnut Hill. Only five men turned out, as it was a very poor day for shooting, but in spite of the unfavorable conditions some creditable shooting was done. The best scores were: Pistol (22 cal.) at 50 yds.- C. H. Taylor 1900, 91; E. Malinckrodt 1900, 82. Revolver (44 cal.) at 50 yds.- C. H. Taylor 83. Rifle (38-55) at 100 yds.- B. F. Bell 1900, 72.
