The race of the two 'Varsity crews will take place this morning at eleven o 'clock. The course will be the regular two mile one, from the start below the Longwood Bridge down stream to the Union Boat House.
With today 's contest the fall rowing ceases. Since the race of the fouroared shells on Nov. 6, Mr. Lehmann and Mr. Willis have been steadily with the men and have been steadily with the men and have given them constant coaching. After a brief rest from the first race two crews were called out and immediately set to work rowing in barges and pair-oars. Later the men were put in the shells in which they have been rowing for about two weeks. Mr. Willis has stroked both boats to give the men a correct idea of the stroke as it should be rowed. Both crews are evenly matched and rowing in very good form.
Their make up is as follows:
Crew 1-Blake, stroke; Heath, 7; Goodrich, 6; Coleman, 5; Byrd, 4; Dubois, 3; Bull, 2; Dobyns, bow; Orton, coxswain.
Crew 2-Higginson, stroke; Biddle, 7; J. F. Perkins, 6; J. H. Perkins, 5; Brown, 4; Wadsworth, 3; Garrett, 2; Adams, bow; Plumb, coxswain.
