The work of the two 'Varsity eights grows more rigorous as the day of the race approaches. Saturday, December 4, has been set as the date. The crews at present are made up as follows:
Crew I.- Blake, stroke: Heath, 7; Goodrich, 6; Coleman, 5; Thomson, 4; DuBois, 3; Byrd, 2; Dobyns, bow; Orton, coxwain.
Crew II.- Higginson, stroke; Biddle, 7; J. F Perkins, 6; J. H. Perkins, 5; Brown, 4; Robinson, 3; Garrett, 2; Adams, bow; Plumb, coxswain.
The practice now consists of light pair-oar work in the morning, followed in the afternoon by long stretches in the shells.
