The Lowell Athletic Club was defeated yesterday afternoon by a Senior scrub eleven with a score of 16 to 0. The Athletic Club men were heavier than their opponents and gained on line bucking, but could not stop '98's open end plays. The Harvard eleven also had the advantage in kicking.

The '98 line-up was as follows: l. e., Valentine; l. t., Graydon; l. g., Barnes; c., Wood; r. g., Hall; r. t., J. Rice; r. e., Flershem; q. b., Vincent; l. h. b., Edson; r. h. b., Flint; f. b., Emmons.
