Harvard has been exceptionally well equipped in the coaching department this year. The number of graduates who came out to lend their assistance in forming a strong eleven has not only been large, but included some of the most prominent players in Harvard's football history.

It was decided this fall shortly before the opening of college to place the eleven under the direction of W. Cameron Forbes '92. In the work of selecting and coaching the Harvard team Mr. For bes has been largely assisted by A. F. Holden '88, W. H. Lewis '95, Dudley Dean '91, W. A. Brooks '89, B. G. Waters '94, Robert W. Emmons '95, George Adams '86, Marshall Newell '94, Edgar N. Wrightington '97, and Mr. Deland. These gentlemen have all been particularly active in their assistance.

Among the other men who have been out occasionally during the season, and whose assistance has been of value are J. P. Lee '91, R. H. Hallowell '96, R. D. Wrenn '95, W. Mackie '94, J. Dunlop '97, and J. Crane '90.
