At its last regular meeting, May 17th, the Harvard Union will hold a convention of the college for the purpose of nominating candidates for the presidency of the United States. It will be conducted similarly to the one held here with so much success four years ago. The Union is going is going to canvass the departments of the University in Cambridge to ascertain presidential preferences, and announce the result at the convention. The canvass will begin on Tuesday evening, when ballots will be distributed at dinner at the tables in Memorial. Every one in the hall is urged to fill out a ballot and drop it in the box for newspapers near the door. It is hoped that all members of the college will give their hearty co-operation to the Union in this matter, so that the canvass may be as complete as possible.
