The University Council has expressed itself in favor of extending the suffrage for the election of overseers to graduates of all departments of the University. At present only those who hold A. B.'s of the College are electors.

The Council has also voted to request the Corporation to select a costume of caps and gowns to be the authorized costume on Academic occasions of holders of Harvard degrees. This vote was in consequence of a petition from various Harvard graduates who are in favor of a prescribed uniform.
