There will be a public lecture under the auspices of the Engineering Society this evening in the Fogg Art Museum at 7.45 p. m., by Col. H. G. Prout on "General Gordon and the Soudan." Colonel Prout will speak of Gordon as an engineer more than as a commander and will probably tell of some of his own experiences when under Gordon in Egypt and Central Africa. The lecture is certain to prove very interesting and is open to the public.
