The leak in the rowing tank has now been repaired, and yesterday afternoon the University crew began regular rowing.
G. S. Mumford '87, coach of last year's crew, was present, and rowed for a short time, illustrating the new stroke. J. J. Storrow '85, however, the captain of the winning '85 crew, did most of the coaching. The men rowed as follows:
Stroke, Bull; 7, Goodrich; 6, Moulton; 5, Perkins '98; 4, Sprague; 3, Boardman; 2, Thomson. Hollister and Perkins '99 are not rowing at present on account of illness.
The platform at the upper end of the rowing room is open to all those who wish to see the practice.
