The '99 Crew.

The candidates for the Sophomore crew are rowing every afternoon at the Gymnasium. The men use the oars now and by the end of next week, when the number of men has been reduced, the whole stroke will probably be rowed. Of last year's crew and substitures, Dibblee, McDuffie, Marvin, Holden, Swift, Whitbeck, Donald and Sampson are out, Boardman, Thomson and Perkins being with the University crew.

The new material on the whole is fairly promising. Mills and Sargent, who rowed on the river with the crew last spring, will soon join the squad and should strengthen it materially.
