The Columbia athletic union has a rowing indebtedness of $3000. A committee of graduates which was appointed to raise money to pay the debt if possible, has reported that the debt cannot be paid and has recommended that no crew be placed on the water this spring. A crew is in training, but unless something is done soon Columbia will not be able to race at Poughkeepsie.
